Biography

Crista Rowe

Crista Rowe is a painter and digital illustrator working across oil, acrylic, and digital media. Her work explores the relationship between saturated color fields and tactile, painterly texture — often built from layers of cool blues pushed against hot pinks and warm oranges.

Originally trained in traditional painting, Crista spent the last decade moving fluidly between the studio and the screen, developing a visual language that feels equally at home on canvas, in print, and on a glowing display. She is based in Portland, Oregon, and works from a converted garage studio that is — by her own admission — perpetually covered in paint.

Her current body of work focuses on five ongoing collections: large-scale paintings, digital illustration, sketchbook studies, mixed media experiments, and a rotating set of client commissions. Prints and originals from each collection are available through the shop, with new releases announced first on the blog.
